10-09-24 TEXT UPDATE: Brothers and Sisters, as we return to the negotiation table with Textron tomorrow (10/10), remember to HOLD THE LINE! 10-08-24 TEXT UPDATE: Brothers and Sisters, Your negotiating committee gathered today to finalize our proposals as we gear up to return to the table with the company. We’ve focused on key priorities: GWI, Health Insurance, and paid time off. The company has finally agreed to meet with us on Thursday, October 10th, and we’re ready to make our voices heard! 10-07-24 TEXT UPDATE: Brothers and Sisters, Today your negotiating committee met at the district and worked on proposals based off your survey results. We are looking forward to getting back to the table with Textron to negotiate a fair and equitable contract for the MEMBERS of 774 to vote on. Continue to stand strong at the gates and do not fall for Textron’s misleading tactics. We have notified the company we are ready to get back to the table and are awaiting their response. 10-01-24 TEXT UPDATE: Brothers and Sisters, We’re still standing strong into week two. If any of our members need medical assistance, please visit your strike headquarters. We need ALL our members to keep coming out to walk the lines! We really need walkers from noon to 4:00 PM and during the third shift hours. Do not let the company propaganda confuse you. 09-27-24 TEXT UPDATE: Brothers and Sisters, at this point there are no plans to meet with the company next week to resume negotiations. Do not be alarmed if you receive a letter from the company stating that your insurance has been canceled and you’ll be offered COBRA Insurance until you are back to work. In solidarity, stay strong! 09-26-24 (#2) TEXT UPDATE: Brothers and Sisters, please do not panic! The company is trying to entice you to come back by Monday saying you’ll keep your insurance. If you have medical issues we have resources that can help get you through this strike. Both headquarters have QR codes that can be scanned to fill out an application to get assistance. 09-26-24 (#1) TEXT UPDATE: While we know that most of our members want to have a weekend off we ask that you volunteer your time this weekend to continue the strike against Textron Aviation. There are many positions other than walking the line that still need your help. So bring your families out this weekend and help LL774 hold the line. 09-23-24 TEXT UPDATE: Brothers and Sisters, the IAM Constitution requires members to volunteer 4 hours per week to qualify for strike benefits. We request everyone who is available to volunteer as much as possible, as our gates must be manned 24 hours a day including weekends. We are creating new sign-up sheets which include times and shifts. The sheets will be located at both strike HQs and the district. Check the local website daily.
