We need election tellers for the District 70 Special Election Run-Off Vote on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Additionally, we will need election tellers on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the final election.

What is an Endorsement (Run-Off) Vote?

The District 70 Endorsement (Run-Off) Vote on Saturday, July 18, 2026, is a crucial step in determining the candidate that members of Local 774 will endorse for the position of District Secretary-Treasurer (one open seat). Each local in the district will conduct its own endorsement (run-off) vote, and the results will determine which nominees will proceed to the final election ballot on August 22, 2026.

Members should have received a notice similar to this in the mail. If you have not, please contact District 70 at 316-522-1591 to update your contact information.

A Local 774 Safety Committee meeting will be held in Machinists Hall immediately following the general membership meeting on Saturday, May  16, 2026.
