You can schedule a meeting with IAM Veteran representatives at District Lodge 70, who can help you register or explore benefits between May 13 and May 15. Flags of Freedom is a grand display of 600 American flags hosted by United Way of the Plains and IAM & AW District Lodge #70. The community is invited to participate by purchasing a dedication in honor or memory of a veteran, visiting the flags, and attending the dedication ceremony. Proceeds will support Veterans Ride Free, an initiative between United Way of the Plains, the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center and the City of Wichita Transit Authority to provide veterans with free rides on city transit to access employment, doctor appointments and more. Volunteers are welcome to help assemble and dismantle the flag field for the 2025 Flags of Freedom event, organized by the United Way of the Plains and IAMAW District Lodge 70 in May. Please refer to the flyer for specific dates and times to volunteer.

Our monthly membership business meeting will be held on Saturday, March 15th, starting at 10:00 AM until the meeting concludes. This is an opportunity for members to participate in the decision-making process of Local Lodge 774. IAM members from any lodge are welcome to attend. #IAM774

Members working for Textron Aviation who wish to have their Directable Lump Sum payment deposited into their HSA or 401k accounts must make those elections by Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, District Lodge 70, Local Lodge 774, Local Lodge 839, and the Community Services of Local Lodge 839 will proudly host their annual golf tournament at Sand Creek Station Golf Course in Newton, KS. This event is a fundraiser to support the mission of Guide Dogs of America/Tender Loving Canines. *Registration deadline is Friday, July 18, 2025.
