If you are a Local Lodge 774 member and did not receive a Notice of Election (As seen below) in the mail, you should contact IAM District Lodge 70 and update your current mailing address. You will need this notice to request an absentee ballot. If you need an additional form, a link is provided below for printing, or you can contact your shop steward for assistance.

The August general membership meeting (Sat. Aug. 16th) will feature the first reading of proposed bylaw changes from the Local Bylaw Committee.

The hearing aid benefit for Textron Aviation employees, negotiated during the 2024 contract negotiations, is now available for reimbursement. This benefit applies to those who purchased hearing aid devices through Textron’s medical plan between Wednesday, January 1, 2025, and Sunday, June 1, 2025.
Bargained employees have until Thursday, July 31, 2025, to submit their reimbursement requests for these purchases. For purchases made on or after Monday, June 2, 2025, employees will have up to 60 days to submit for reimbursement.

Flags of Freedom is a grand display of 600 American flags hosted by United Way of the Plains and IAM & AW District Lodge #70. The community is invited to participate by purchasing a dedication in honor or memory of a veteran, visiting the flags, and attending the dedication ceremony. Proceeds will support Veterans Ride Free, an initiative between United Way of the Plains, the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center and the City of Wichita Transit Authority to provide veterans with free rides on city transit to access employment, doctor appointments and more.
